Enough with the chit chat and on with the pictures!
As I mentioned before, while my friend was visiting us, we took him to Vienna (Wien), Austria for a few days. I played the clarinet from 7th grade until my first year of college and my visiting friend just graduated yesterday with his Masters in Music Performance. With our musical backgrounds, we were very excited to visit what is an important city in musical history. We visited the house where the Mozarthaus. I decided to do some musical nails with a stamping plate I hadn't yet tested for the trip.
You can tell on the middle finger I accidentally stamped the purple when I should have stamped pink. I did the pink over it, but you could hardly tell in person. I ended up liking how the purple on purple looked, so I switched up the colors on the left hand. I really liked them both. :)
Yikes my cuticles look a tad rough. I hadn't yet discovered cuticle nippers.
Which look do you prefer: alternating colors or the same color?
Looks good both ways, but I like with the same color!
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for some awards.

I agree with Jackie--both are cute, but I personally like the way the similar colours look together. As for cuticle nippers, I just use some simple Revlon cuticle remover on mine and push them back with an orange stick or washcloth, and they do just fine. Everyone has her own preference, though. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, so jealous of your visit! I've always loved Mozart's music (it's so layered and playful), and I've heard Vienna is a beautiful city.
I was very happy to spot your blog tonight, Jewli--in fact, I'm passing on the Versatile Blogger Award I recently received to you! If you'd like to see the specific post you can find it at http://didmynails.blogspot.com/2012/06/versatile-blogger-award.html ^_^
